Create a reliable business information record
Confirm the firm’s real-world name, location details, telephone arrangements, and the page that best represents each genuine office. Assign an owner to keep those facts current. Google’s Business Profile guidelines require accurate representation and discourage unnecessary additions to the business name. Do not treat a profile name as a place to insert every service and city phrase the firm hopes to target.
Check location eligibility before publication
A mailing address does not necessarily represent an operating office. Google’s guidelines exclude rented mailing locations where the business does not operate and set specific conditions for coworking offices. Review the current eligibility rules before creating or changing a profile. The website should also describe office arrangements honestly, so an online visitor is not encouraged to travel to a location that cannot receive them.

Make each location page independently useful
Where a firm has genuinely different offices, explain the practical details a visitor needs for that location. These might include the services offered there, appointment arrangements, access information, and accurate contact details. Use only verified facts. A page becomes more useful through relevant differences, not through a longer city introduction that could be copied onto any unrelated business website.
Connect local pages with the wider site
Link a location to the services and people actually associated with it. Help visitors move from a broad practice explanation to suitable local information without suggesting that every lawyer works in every office. Keep titles and page descriptions readable. When the firm’s coverage changes, update the relevant pages together so old navigation and new copy do not tell conflicting stories.
Judge progress by the right questions
Review whether visitors reach the intended pages and whether enquiries concern work the firm actually handles. Treat search visibility as one signal, not a promise that every increase is valuable. Record substantial profile and website changes so later observations have context. If performance shifts, investigate before making many unrelated edits at once; a clear change history makes the evidence easier to interpret.
